A boiler system is used to make steam for heating the hot liquor tank, mash tun, and brew kettle. Crawford Brewing can help size the boiler and all associated piping to make a complete steam system.
A chiller is used to make chilled water for cooling the cold liquor tank, brite tanks, and fermenters. Crawford Brewing can help size the chiller and all associated piping to make a complete chilled water system.
Many of our clients have decided to serve some of their flagship beers from serving vessels to bypass the kegging process. Our serving tanks are built to the same high standards as our fermenters except the serving vessels have single wall construction and no insulation. A carbonation stone port is included on each vessel. These vessels are installed inside of a cooler where brewers can dispense directly from the tanks to their tap rail.
