CLIENT: CRAWFORD BREW WORKS (BETTENDORF, IA)

PROJECT SUMMARY:

Crawford Brewing Equipment designed, fabricated and installed the brew tank system for Crawford Brew Works (Bettendorf, IA). The system included: 15BBL brewhouse with custom etched glass manways and touch screen HMI controls, (2) 30BBL fermenters, (3) 15BBL fermenters, (4) 7BBL glycol cooled serving vessels, and (1) 30BBL hot liquor tank. Additional system options included: G&D 7x7 dual stage chiller and Weil-McLain 780 boiler. Crawford also engineered the steam and glycol piping for the job and provided installation.

Crawford Brew Works is a micro-brewery and taproom in Bettendorf, IA. The brewery occupies 3500-sq. ft. of newly constructed space. Crawford Brew Works offers a number of flagship beers and seasonal options. The brewery features a Crawford Brewing Equipment brewhouse and fermenters. The brewery also serves as a show room for Crawford’s equipment. The brewery features both indoor and outdoor seating and will accommodate groups of various sizes. The ownership group includes: Keith Gerks, Bruce Grell, Adam Isaacson, Bob Frink, and Ian Frink. Scot Schaar has been named head brewer. Marshall Dismer is the general manager. CBW is a member of the Iowa Brewers Guild.
