Crawford Brewing Equipment has developed strong relationships with local architectural and engineering design firms, providing us the ability to team up and offer a complete turn-key brewery or brewpub design. These partnerships allow our team to design all aspects of your job including architectural, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, seismic review and interior design. We would be happy to get involved in your initial business planning efforts to make sure you have all aspects of your building covered.

Our brewery design team can help you choose equipment from our 7, 10, 15, or 30 bbl brewhouse categories, or guide you through the creation of something totally custom. Custom Built Brewing Equipment For Your Beer Needs

Crawford Brewing Equipment will size the boiler and chiller system to ensure they match each individual brewery layout. Piping schematics will be developed for construction by Crawford or local contractors. We can also assist the architect and building engineering team with calculations and documentation during the permitting phase of construction.

Installing Your Brewing Equipment & Opening Your Own Brewery

Crawford Brewing Equipment can be involved as much as needed in the installation process. A full crew can be on site to perform the complete installation or a representative can be on site to oversee a local crew. After installation of the brewing system, we can be on site to provide start-up assistance and walk the brewers through the complete brewing process with a water brew. If needed, we would even be happy to assist with the initial batches of beer produced on your new system.

Dimensional Brewing Company

Turnkey Solution

Crawford Brewing Equipment provided a turnkey solution to Dimensional Brewing Co. in Dubuque, IA. The system included: 7BBL brewhouse with mash mixer, (3) 7BBL fermenters, (2) 15BBL fermenters, a CIP/Brewery floor pump, grist hydrator, 7BBL grist hopper, and an “Otto” automated keg washer. Crawford also engineered the steam and glycol piping for the job and provided installation.

An Experience

Crawford Brewing Equipment worked with Green Tree from concept to completion. Crawford provided the brewhouse, hot liquor tank, cold liquor tank, (4) 15BBL fermenters, and installation of this system. Crawford provided drawings, design, layout, installation, and commissioning of the system.

Brewmaster Kenny Gromman also added some custom horizontal fermenters. Additional system options included: glycol chiller, boiler with condensate pump, keg washer, and on-site installation management.
