Project Summary:
Springfield Beer Company contacted us to help them build their third location, a production facility. The client wanted equipment he could run with a small crew or even alone in order to keep labor cost low moving forward. This was a greenfield project - literally a farmer's field, so everything had to be brought in. Crawford Brewing Equipment was involved from the onset and created the floor plan which included future expansion. This project is probably the finest example of our "white glove turnkey service" since we acted as the "general contractor" for all things equipment. We designed the water treatment, boiler, chiller, electrical, and packaging systems. We also handled procurement and installation of the walk in cooler and industrial scroll type air compressor. We set all the equipment according to the floor plan we created, did all of the mechanical installation, commissioned everything, and trained the customer and his team on its use. We provided a 1500 gallon per day reverse osmosis water plant, single pair roller mill, grist case and chain disk conveyor, 45bbl hot and cold liquor tanks, 20bbl brewhouse, 40bbl fermenters, a 40bbl brite tank, plate and frame filter, air compressor, walk in cooler, depalletizer, S Grip conveyor with ionized air rinser, 2 head can filler (expandable to 5), reflow table, air can dryer, labeler, accumulation pack off table, and Otto automatic keg washer.
